Rosenthal Junger Dackel (Daschund) # 731
Many artists involved with the Allach porcelain concern had worked
both before and after as designers for other companies. Prof. Karner is
the most recognizable name in porcelain today. His work and his designs
are timeless and cherished by anyone familiar with porcelain. There are
even "Karner Collectors" which is understandable since he is responsible
for so many famous pieces.
This particular design can be
found by several manufactures and can date into the early 1900's all the
way up to current or recent manufacture. This particular piece is
Rosenthal, and although it was manufactured in the 1950's you would not
know it unless you lifted it. Not all of these are the same and they can
vary in color and detail. This one is an excellent example.
