Prior to Allach Prof. Karner was to work at several porcelain manufacturer's, one of which was Nymphenburg. This company has roots dating back to 1747 and is the source of many fine examples of porcelain. This piece does not disappoint and is a large example done in life size. Date of manufacture would be about 1918-1920.

Prof. Karner is considered the premier artisan when talking about porcelain and his pieces are without question the best of the best. He will no doubt keep me busy and I could probably work off his pieces alone.
