Price: Upon Request
One of the rarest Allach pieces in existence with one year manufacture being 1942. Designed by Richard Forster the piece is stone mint and was bought home and given to the wife of a soldier. Looking at the piece itself it is flawless and even in 1942 the high glaze and bright white porcelain make this piece a stunner. Base which I did not photograph bears the impressed runes and the signature for Forster is to the rear of the rock he is standing on. The Dolchträger is not a Morisken which for years prior were gifted from the city of Munich. He is one of only 3 figures manufactured for public consumption due to demand created by the Moriskens and are referred to as Gaukler's or the Gaukler Group.
Is is a beautiful piece, even stunning to see in hand.
