Third Reich Beer Glass- Deutschland Erwache # 3361
Early 1930's propaganda pilsner glass bearing the D.E 1929 style Adler and the "Heil Hitler!" Motif. This actually arrived from the family of a vet and is a bring back. The glass stands approx. 9 inches tall and is about 3.5 inches wide at the widest point. I have seen these many times but never had one here and more often than not they are for units more so than political. Enamel paint applied on glass which is without any damage, chip or repair and quite pristine including the thin gilt to the upper rim. The paint is all there with the slightest touchup on the swastika arms that can be seen if you look hard enough. A nice piece and not something I get to see all that often.
