Munich Child ( Münchner Kindl ) - Nymphenburg

This is a rare example of the Munich child done by Nymphenburg in the prewar years of the 1930's. It is a large piece when compared to the little maiden by Allach and this measures over 9 inches tall and 8 inches wide at the widest. Nymphenburg was a pretty well known manufacture for the N.S.D.A.P in the pre-war and the war time era and most notably made dinnerware for Adolf Hitler in both formal patterns and patterns for the Reichsbahn, its generally very high quality and this is no exception. I have not seen this piece before and it cannot be common and I do often grab for the neat pieces and this would be suitable for a political collector or anyone really, in the meantime it looks nice here.
