This is a 7.5 inch porcelain salad plate made by the Königszelt porcelain factory.
This design came into being after the German occupation of Norway in 1940. This special series was manufactured in 1941 only and was issued to the officers mess' of the original seven divisions that took part in the actual operation, which was code named 'Weserübung-Nord'.
Quite scarce to find in the market today. Excellent condition showing use, but no chips cracks or repairs.
