Hutschenreuther Established in 1845 is one of the oldest and largest porcelain Manufacturer's. Still in business to this day and having gone through many transitions since its inception pieces of just about every shape and form are available in the marketplace from various era's.

This piece would date to the 50's I believe and is a top shelf piece in a hit and miss market. Animal figures from the early 1900's into the 1950's seem to be the best examples. Although not always the case, this piece has all the factors of an attractive piece. The subject matter, application of paint and detail make this a great piece. Its size makes it extraordinary at almost 12 inches long and 7 inches high. It is a large piece!.
