Haus Der Kunst Presentation Speech/ Adolf Hitler 1933 ( Frieda Thiersch ) # 1667
The ground breaking for the Munich House of Arts was quite a show and would open the door for 12 years of a continuous flow of art of all mediums and would come to be celebrated on an annual basis with parades where people would attend in droves.
The Ground breaking itself in 1933 would bring forth many pieces of presentation items much like what was seen with the building of the Chancellery. Plaques, coins, paper, and numerous pieces would be manufactured and sold or given in presentation form to VIP'sThis is something I have not personally encountered before and it is a limited edition copy of Adolf Hitler's speech for the ground breaking ceremony and is numbered 169 out of 200 examples. It is bound by Frieda Thiersch who was responsible for the leather bindings of the highest awards given during the Third Reich and is in beautiful condition for an 80 year old item. Pages are done in an antique parchment style with calligraphy and the text pages number 16 in all. Survival rate for this cannot be high.
This will no doubt be for the specialized collector and will not disappoint.
