Framed Propaganda Tin Plaque- Adolf Hitler # 1126
Private purchase pieces were readily available during the Third Reich
in various shape and form, and period photos show corner shops that
would sell busts and framed pieces of various party members and
officials.
These were such pieces and while they are not
extremely rare, it is rare to find them in this condition due to their
style of manufacture which will scratch if you look at it in the wrong
way.
Manufactured of a thin sheet of tin with a silver finish
this example is probably the best conditioned example I have personally
encountered and it rests in its original period frame. To the rear is
an original two piece hanging system consisting of a stand and a ring
retention for hanging dependent on how you were to display it, and to
the stand base the original retailers sticker for the outlet that sold
the piece.
