An extremely rare and direct presentation Reich Adler from Dr. Joseph Goebbels to Karl Gunzer on Weihnachten 1936. Large scale measuring approx. 20 x 15 the bird is a Josef Pabst in solid bronze and sits on its original marble base with dedication plaque. Included is the ink signed Goebbels letter that accompanied the piece when it was originally presented to the recipient on the Reich Minister's letterhead in Berlin.
Solid bronze large wing eagle measuring approx. 11 inches x 20 inches. Patina is a flat slate black/gray and the piece is signed " Pabst " and foundry marked " Bildgiesserei Kraas Berlin S42 ". The base is a very typical mottled brown and is to the piece and bears the dedication plaque from Dr. Goebbels in Berlin to Karl Gunzer.. The text of the plaque is as follows:

Translation loosely " Party member Gunzer for the year 1936 exemplary work in the service of the Reich Minister ". Gunzer is a sound man by trade and works with speaker systems and his bio is available and info is attached here in photo form.
