The Mahnmal statue was designed by Kurt Schmid Ehmen and was displayed yearly at the Feldhernnhalle to pay homage to those killed during the putsch on Nov. 9 1923.

The names of the 16 martyrs are listed by name and were celebrated as hero's of the early days of National Socialism, below that is the "Blood Order" logo and the quote. "And Yet To Have Conquered" It is from this action that came the infamous "Blood Flag" and landed Adolf Hitler in Landsberg Prison. It was here that he would pen Mein Kampf.

These are not very easy to find in the scheme of things and were probably retained by those who were involved with the putsch or political figures, possibly recipients of the B.O. Manufactured of white metal with bronze patina this measures approx 6 x 5 x 3 inches and was originally purchased by John Pepera years ago before he turned it over into a premier political collection and is now offered.
