Hedwig Maria Ley bust of Hitler sculpted in 1932. This is a wartime cast in zinc with a bronze finish. The finsh is brennlak, the impregnated lacquer finish found on wartime, bronze-finish, zinc combat badges. The piece is hollow cast in a single piece, including the zinc two-tier base. It measures just over 9" tall overall. The condition is low excellent with no cracks or damage to the metal. There is some light pitting to the bronzed finish in various places which can be seen in the photos. It is unusual to find an original cast nowadays. This one comes from an old PA collection, and is untouched.
