This is an original phone from the period that I used for some time as an office land line as it is functional with a standard U.S wall adapter. Its very cool and works fine with its somewhat loud and distinctive European double ring. I am sure there is an adjustment for the ringer somewhere but I eventually unhooked it as when it rang I jumped out of my chair. Makes for a very cool display piece or a functional piece that is plug and play. No collection can be truly complete without a Nazi phone.
