Large wooden Fliegertruppe Plate inscription Reads "KF. AUSB-STELLE
DER FLIEGERTRUPPE NR. 9" and dated 1.8.1942. These plates would have
hung in a group area or possibly in the home. This example is signed to
the rear and bears a pebbled background to the inscription area. It may
have had legs at one time to sit flat, but have long been removed and
standard hanging apparatus applied.
The center motif bears
the droop wing eagle and a four leaf clover. The bottom inscription area
bears a pair of shoulder boards in addition to the inscription. I would
imagine it could be researched but I have not done so as of this time.
Luftwaffe items are very popular and it is not difficult to see why. A
very nice piece of handmade history.
