Henrik Herse SS Publication: Five Cradles and One More # 991
While I have not gotten to the Allach Herse Figures due
to time, they are a little known group of figures made for the holidays
and designed by the daughter of Henrik Herse, Elfriede Herse.
The book by her father " Funf Wiegen und noch eine" or " Five Cradles and One More " was an additional piece of publishing work he did for the SS and was a childrens book designed as group reading for the SS family.
Between
the covers is a series of illustrations of both Nordic and Germanic
ritual designed to familiarize the children their roots and culture. The
Herse figures will be another endeavor down the road but the book is a
rare treat.
