This is a fine quality, early, hollow-cast, bronze bust of Adolf Hitler, slightly larger than life-size. The piece is signed in the bronze by the sculptor J. Eingartner (Jakob Eingartner) dated 1933 The bronze itself measures 15 1/2" tall, and the variegated black marble base is approximately 5" tall.

In addition to the signature and date, the bronze is marked: Reichsanerkannt, which translates to "recognized by the reich". It is also foundry stamped on the edge of the mounting flange: Guss H. Mayr München.

Dark brown patina and in excellent condition.

**There is little information about the sculptor except a catalog listing of a brochure which is in the Staatsarchiv Ludwigsburg which apparently contains a profile photo of the bust, press information, as well as a price list.
