Sitting Rabbit ( Prof. Karner ) # 857
This Karner piece dating back to the early 20's when he was employed
by Rosenthal should serve as a good reminder in how he has become the
most noted artist in porcelain design in the market today.
While
an individual porcelain manufacturer does not always dictate how well a
piece is going to be executed and painted, Karner's hand is always a
treat to the eyes in the end product. This piece with its very subtle
paint scheme and its overall lines make it special, and in my opinion
one of the best rabbits I have ever seen. Its just that good.
