Model #31 Hitlerjunge/ Hitler Youth Drummer Allach # 410
I first saw this piece in 1986/87 in a collection of 3rd Reich material
that I was invited to see. It immediately caught my eye and I had no
idea what Allach was at that point. But it was the piece that started my
interest in collecting these piece's.
It is also one of the first military style pieces manufactured at Allach and would become the direction of the companies product in the future. The Youth Drummer would represent the first generation of what would become to be known as the 1000 year Reich. I still own this piece and it has always been one of my favorites. It is also the first production piece attributed to Richard Forster, who would later grace production with stunning figures.
