Many porcelain firms from the era were smaller firms, referred to as "Cottage Manufactures". Before, during and after the war many of these little companies made exceptional pieces, and many of them have long history's. "Wallendorf" dates back to 1764 and is still in business today. 

I believe this would date to the 1950's or 1960's. It is a unique piece and the quality is very high.
