Vase #500 # 1108
The Allach vase line is pretty strong and there are many different
shapes and sizes to be found in market. The most commonly encountered
pieces have a red or maroon color scheme with accents of black and
either gold highlights or a mustard yellow highlight.
From
its inception Allach utilized the gold leaf accents up until the onset
of war in 1939 when it became restricted and in came the mustard yellow
replacement. So, safe to say that gold accents are prewar examples and
their counterparts being wartime manufacture.
It is not at
all common to find a variant color scheme and this one which stands
about 15 inches high is not only a large example, but bears a very nice
blue/green color with prewar gold accents.
For gallery purposes I have posted photos of 3 different vases including an all gold trim which is also quite uncommon, and the red color with mustard trim.
