Allach Ehrenpreis Dem Sieger Posen # 524
This particular prize is a 1st prize for an unknown event. There has
been some speculation as to why there was no particular event listed to
the plate itself.
Being that earlier plates dated 1937 have a full glaze finish and the 1938 and 1939 plates have a bisque eagle, this plate would be a 1938/39 plate that was either kept unmarked for an event yet announced and leaving Dem Sieger as the obvious choice for a first place prize, or it was produced and presented after the war started and the Polish territories incorporated into that new Gau.
To date, I have not observed nor am I aware of a plate that pre-dates 1937 and the decree for non metallic awards referenced in the intro would lead one to believe that there were none till that point.
