Adolf Hitler Presentation Bust # 3268
Small presentation Hitler bust, a trophy for an NSKK model airplane flying competition in Wasserkuppe, 1938. The bust is white metal, and the gold finish has been restored, matching what was left visible on the surface. The head measures about 5" tall and the overall height, including the mottled green-grey marble base is 8 1/2". The silver metal plaque on the front of the base has a hand engraved Icarus figure, the symbol of the NSFK, as well as hand engraved lettering. The plaque is tarnished dark but in fine condition. The bust has some minor pitting and loss of finish, but overall the piece is still in low excellent condition and is a great desk size display.
