Allach Award Plaque/ Plakette SS Reiter Wettkampfe Munchen 1936 # 669
This porcelain plaque is one of the earliest examples noted in any
reference. Awarded by Heinrich Himmler in July/August of 1936 it
pre-dates his decree of 1937 that all SS and Polizei sport awards be
non-metallic.
It was featured in two period publications, "FM Zeitschrift" in September 1936 and "Das Schwarze Korps" in August 1936.
A cased example from this period is very rare and this one is back dated to July 1936.
