Model #10 Berghirsch/ Mountain Stag Allach # 386
The Mountain Stag a typical Karner piece, Top notch with no sacrifice
to detail whatsoever. It is not the first piece to utilize multi-piece
construction, but it is worthy of note. The antlers of this piece were
removable and were manufactured that way. Two serrated holes in the top
of the head were each met with a form fitted porcelain antler section.

is difficult to say when this piece was manufactured till, the loss of
skilled labor in the early forties cut short production for more of the
pieces that required a higher degree of difficulty to complete. It made
it into 1939 for sure.
